NY police post pictures of Woodstock vandals

New York State police have posted their own commemoration of Woodstock on the Web. The police site, Woodstock '99 Photos, includes pictures of people breaking into ATM machines, demolishing the Peace Wall and looting a truck and calls on surfers to e-mail police if they can identify any of the convert goers. "Some of the concert goers photographed were committing crimes others might have some information to help us identify those who were," the site says...

The State Police at Troop D are attempting to identify individuals who may have witnessed or been involved in criminal activity at Woodstock 99.

Troopers are currently investigating numerous reported incidents including larceny, criminal mischief and sexual assault.

Please examine the photographs displayed on this Web site to see if you recognize any of the individuals in them. Some of the concert goers photographed were committing crimes others might have some information to help us identify those who were.

Also, the State Police would greatly appreciate copies of any relevant photos that you might have taken.
