now unambiguously legal. But the story is more complex

hot on cyberspace money trail - A survey of systems
professionals out Wednesday shows 70% report being
victimized by serious computer crimes, especially on the
Internet. When equipment theft, viruses and
other pilfering are factored in, the figure rises to
90%, according to the fifth annual survey by the FBI and
the Computer Security Institute (CSI) of San Francisco. Those claiming financial losses
reported totals exceeded $265 million, more than double
that of 1999...

Face New Challenge From ACLU - In a new challenge to the Boy Scouts of
America over the issue of bias, the American Civil
Liberties Union has asked institutions ranging from the
City of Chicago to the FBI to cut off support to Scout
troops or force them to change. "We're saying governmental
agencies shouldn't be violating discrimination
laws," said Roger Leishman, state director of gay
and lesbian rights for the ACLU...
