The United Nations Millennium Summit starts September 6. During this meeting of over 150 heads of state from around the world the new Charter for Global Democracy is expected to be ratified. The warm fuzzy rhetoric used in it and to describe it conceal the fact that national sovereignty and individual freedom must be sacrificed for the "peace" outlined within it. Our federal government is actively pursuing a plan to ensure the U.N. is so powerful that no nation, including the U.S. will be able to challenge it. Think about that. A U.N. powerful enough to enforce world "peace" will also be powerful enough to dominate it. The are many U.N. proposals, all designed to gather power and control of us and our children's lives to themselves. To the U.N. the children are the collective wards of the state, parents have little say in their upbringing. Agenda 21 and the World Heritage Convention are just two examples of the use of environmentalism to destroy private property rights. Taking away private firearms of all types is also in the works. The only sound course of action is to get us out of the United Nations. There is more information at www.getusout.org .
