Kings & Princes...

The kings and the princes live in the lavish castle and throw parties. They invite the villagers (businessmen) to come to their party. Many of the villagers go. The villagers rely on the Kings and Princes for protection so the Villagers don't want to upset them. The Kings and Princes rely on the villagers for raw goods and production.

Within the village, you have peasants. They work the fields and collect the raw materials. The Kings and Princes protect the villagers from any disruption of services which my be brought about by the rebellious ones who live in the forest. The forest dwellers are those who refuse to submit to the will of the Kings and Princes, choosing to live off the land rather than the live in luxury at the bidding of the Kings and Princes.

Politicians and Administrative government types are the princes. Top business executives are the Kings. The villagers are small businessmen. The peasants, the factory and labor workers. I think you know who lives in the forest.

Funny thing, I don't think this story has changed much in 2000 years. We still have a large collection of Kings who seek to rule over us with the power of their wealth. We still have princes who aspire to be around the kings, willing to subert laws and regulations in an effort to gain the favor of the Kings. Little has changed.

The only thing that is different is that the rebels in the forest appear to be keenly aware that time is running out. The Kings and Princes are getting far more oppressive than in past years, using technology to track their adversaries. The question is, who can stand up against such a system? Time will tell the fate of the Kings and Princes.

Personally.... I'd bet on the peasants surviving along with the forest dwellers. There's something about being an underdog that makes for a sweet victory against a goliath type oppressor.
