I have a thought... Let's NOT build the conference center in Navarre! First, the "Cash" money rolling into Okaloosa county government to generate more tourist traffic does not influence Santa Rosa county. Thank God for that! Second, a conference center that is a bad idea in Fort Walton Beach is still a bad idea in Navarre. If you move the dog poop from one side of the table to another, it's still dog poop on the table. Finally, the tactics used by the TDC to weasel this by the citizens in Okaloosa county wouldn't work here. Unfortunately, the well-informed and active few in Okaloosa county are far outnumbered by the oblivious many. A sad situation... Keep fighting against those elected officials who are more interested in lining their own pockets at the expense of the quality of life of all the citizens of Okaloosa count! Better yet, turn the "elected officials" into "REJECTED officials!"
