The Freedom Forum Shame On UsFrom: Pat Baska CommentsThis entire election fiasco is our fault. We have forgotten the principles that guided our founders in creating our government to be the freest and most moral ever established. For almost two hundred years this was the greatest nation on earth. Then it went into a major decline and has been going down fast. Look at what this election has brought us to. Two men whose biggest difference is how they fast they plan to take this country the rest of the way into socialism, and that obviously one of them is completely devoid of honor. The degradation of our culture is shown in the “the end justifies the means” and “if it’s right for me, it’s right” mentality displayed in this circus. Shame on us for allowing it. We must re-learn that right and wrong are not relative to how they help or hinder our agenda. We must re-learn the principles of our forefathers and apply them vigorously, or we will only see more of this amorality and corruption, and will end up with a totalitarian government. Read the Constitution, the Federalist Papers, and other of the vast amount of information the Founders left for us. Then write to your Congressmen, letting them know we have had enough of this, and will no longer put up with it. ______ Last changed: March 04, 2008
