The US should immediately cancel its
membership in the United Nations - by Gaylan King
The US
should immediately cancel its membership in the United Nations. Not only is our
participation a huge financial waste, but the UN is the weapon of choice of the New World
Order to accomplish two key objectives: the cessation of US sovereignty, and US
subjugation. The plan is clearly laid out in current UN initiatives.
The UN has quietly set out to exercise financial and physical control of the
planet. We're under attack through such concepts as proposed world taxes and the loss of
control of millions of acres of private and public land. Conferences on population
control, enforced species preservation, and rumors of Orwellian environmental controls all
underscore a serious threat.
The UN has grown from 1500 staff-members with a $20 million budget in 1945, to
the present staff of over 50,000 and a budget exceeding $10 billion. It has a reputation
for lavish spending, waste, corruption, socialist goals, and a thirst for international
power through New World Order sponsorship. The US pays $4 billion of the yearly
housekeeping costs and 25 % of peacekeeping costs, which have risen from $700 million in
1990, to $3.5 billion, today. Japan pays half of what we pay, and the United Kingdom half
of that. Of the remaining 185 members, 90 pay 0.01 % of the total and receive essentially
the same privileges as the US. Many of the 50,000-plus UN employees spy against our
military and high technology communities while enjoying political immunity, in itself a
compelling reason to end US participation and escort the UN legions to the airport.
A proposed UN global tax will produce an estimated $1.5 trillion by taxing
global transactions such as aviation traffic, fuel, and freight, ocean freight and
cruises, telecommunications frequencies, communications satellites, international mail,
and other goods and services.
The UN routinely sends peacekeepers to places with no peace to keep. They
intervene in civil wars to indulge in so-far unsuccessful "nation-building." It
should be made clear that US troops will never participate in UN military actions
disguised as "peace-keeping;" nor should US troops ever serve in UN uniforms,
under UN command or rules of engagement.
The UN is in the process of bringing under its control millions of acres of US
and other sovereign land through the UN Global Biodiversity Program, the most insidious
program ever devised in the name of environmentalism.
The Administration openly acquiesces to UN goals despite the obvious threats,
clearly illustrating the presence of a hidden agenda.
President Clinton recently declared his intention to pay the UN some $2 billion
in back dues. No one would propose such an unpopular action, while participating in our
own demise, unless the stakes were huge; they are. There is ample reason to suspect
President Clinton accepts the New World Order vision of UN world control, and has possibly
been their protégé for many years. President Bush may also fit into this category of
deception, which is seditious when viewed from the assertion of the US Constitution and
sovereignty, and unmistakable subjugation.
The US is the most powerful country in history, leader of the free world, the
richest home of personal freedom on this planet. Our leaders cannot constitutionally or
even legally abdicate this position and still serve us. It is unthinkable that UN control
of our treasure, troops, trees, taxes or thoughts, would benefit this country one iota.
What shameless drivel!
Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) sponsored bill HR1146, "US Sovereignty
Restoration Act", which would have restored the sovereignty of the US, revoked the UN
treaty, removed any of the US sites (Biosphere and Heritage sites) from any possible UN
jurisdiction, and prevented any future designations without the expressed approval of the
US Congress. In essence, this bill would have gotten the US out of the UN. It was defeated
in early July 1997, by a vote of 34-369, a vote against the American people, and favoring
UN domination. We must all ask the question, "Why?" Bravo, Mr. Paul, there is
serious business ahead for all of us.
Wake up, America, while there's still time!
